Terms and Conditions

Booking:

  • When booking, we require a non-refundable retainer's fee and a signed service agreement.
  • No event is booked until we have both.
  • You will be sent a link to your client page online where you will sign the service agreement and can pay the non-refundable retainer's fee or the entire amount. You can print off the agreement from there.
  • Please discuss payment by check at the time of booking. We do not accept personal checks, unless they are received a month before the event. If any check bounces, there will be an insufficient funds fee (determined by the bank) and the amount for the event will need to be paid in full before your event is booked.
  • The balance of the total amount due is payable in full on the day of the event BEFORE the artist will set up.
  • The balance may be paid in full before the date of the event.

  • We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, especially if they are or appear to be ill, injured, have broken skin, eye rashes, fever, rude, nasty tempered, misbehaving, etc.

Client Provision:

The client agrees to provide a clean, safe, protected environment for the artist(s) to perform their services. This may be a good condition, staked down tent canopy, gazebo, shelter, or indoor area etc. to protect against extreme heat (over 75 degrees Fahrenheit), cold (under 45 degrees Fahrenheit), inclement weather and sun. Both the artist and the guests will appreciate this.

If the client so chooses, the artist can provide her mobile art studio for 3 hours or longer events for an additional fee.

The client agrees to provide access to electricity so that the artist may perform their services. If there is no access to electricity, then the client may opt to pay and additional fee for the artist to bring a quiet generator to render services.

Parking so that the artist may unload and load equipment and supplies in a timely manner should also be provided.

Artist Provision:

The artist will supply her own equipment, supplies, chairs, tables, or anything else needed to perform her services. This includes power cords for electricity.

The artist agrees to perform her services to the best of her ability in the time allotted her by the service agreement. Client must note that if there is not enough time given or more than the agreed upon amount of guests arrive, not all people will be painted. If available, the artist may be able to extend the time, but prompt payment for services will be necessary.

The artist agrees to be at the event and set up by the time the event starts. If there is an emergency situation, such as a vehicle breakdown or weather situation such as icy roads, or an unexpected sudden illness, the artist will contact the client by phone or text to let them know of any cancellation or delays.

The artist agrees to be dressed in appropriate attire and act in a respectful manner to the client and the guests. The also agree to make sure that the area in which they have been assigned is clean and tidy before they leave.

Paint Removal:

Airbrush face paint:

  • Lasts 1-2 days
  • Comes off with soap and water. Apply liquid soap to paint, lather up and wait 30 seconds. Then rinse off paint. Repeat until removed. The paint is water resistant, so water only will most likely not remove the paint.
  • Rubbing the paint will also begin to remove it, but is not recommended to remove the paint.

Airbrush tattoo ink:

  • Lasts 1-5 days
  • Comes off best with 70% isopropyl alcohol. Baby oil may also be used.
  • Other items like suntan lotion, body lotions, oils, soaps, etc. can wear away the paint so do not use if you wish the tattoo to remain.
  • Rubbing or scratching at the paint will also remove paint, but is not recommended to remove the paint.

Photos:

The artist may want to take pictures of the event or people painted. Please let the artist know if you do not want her to take pictures of the event or guests.

Limitations on Artwork:

The artist reserves the right to refuse any and all graphics or requests for designs. We do not paint designs that promote violence, discrimination, hate speech, swearing, falls outside our artistic style or skill, illegal drugs or any design that we find offensive to us. As we use stencils to help make the designs crisp and detailed, we may not have the designs the guests want and as such may have to refuse custom designs.

Cancellation Policy:

  • Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours prior to the event.
  • If the artist arrives to the event and the event has been cancelled or the conditions set forth in the service agreement are not met (ie, safe, protected environment, payment of balance made, etc.) the total amount of the event is due.
  • If the event is cancelled at any time, the retainer's fee is non-refundable, except for events of acts of God such as flooding, the site is destroyed by a tornado, government shut down, icy roads, etc. Rainy or stormy conditions does not count.
